How to find the right Venetian blind for the bathroom
In the bathroom the material is decisive. Aluminium is almost unbeatable here: it absorbs no water, does not warp with temperature changes and offers mould no surface to attack. The powder-coated LEHA slats stay dimensionally stable and colourfast for years, even with daily shower steam.
The second point is the Privacy protection. Closed horizontally the Venetian blind is opaque — tilted slightly it lets daylight in without giving away the view inside. This way you find the right balance of brightness and privacy for every time of day, especially on the ground floor or in a terraced house.
At the space the slim design scores: mounted in the window reveal the Venetian blind hardly protrudes and leaves the windowsill free — important in small bathrooms. If drilling into the tiles is to be avoided, on many windows it can be fixed directly to the sash with clamp brackets.
And the Care: limescale and water splashes are simply wiped off with a damp cloth. No taking down, no wash cycle — this keeps the bathroom window permanently clean with minimal effort.
- Aluminium: moisture-resistant, does not swell, does not mould
- Opaque when closed — bright and yet private when tilted slightly
- Wipeable with a damp cloth: limescale and splashes removed in seconds
- Slim design, in the reveal or without drilling on the sash
