Mechanism & fittings
Your living-room pleated blind runs on proven mechanisms from our partners — LEHA in Germany and Silga in Italy, both a benchmark for precision and durability for decades.

How to operate your living-room pleated blind
You slide the living-room pleated blind up or down by the handle — and it stays in any height you like stop. From the top, from the bottom or free in the middle: you control light and view steplessly, with no fixed notches.
At the tensioned living-room pleated blind the fabric runs between two rails — it holds in any position, on a skylight too. On request we supply it with a motor and radio remote control; simply ask us.
A look at the production
Lowered halfway, the pleated blind takes the harshness out of the afternoon sun without taking away the view. See for yourself how your custom-made blind takes shape in our workshop.

Operable from top and bottom, exactly within the window frame — custom-made work you can see.
The living room often has the largest windows in the house — and the highest demands on appearance. Four reasons why a pleated blind can do more there than a simple roller blind. For windows facing the street or the neighbours, you move the blind from the bottom upwards closed — opaque below, with daylight still coming in above. Classic roller blinds can only be fully open or fully closed. A pleated blind sits compactly in the window frame and takes no space away from the curtain beside it. So the pleated blind handles privacy and sun protection, while the curtain provides warmth and acoustics.
The first step is the Window front: for a single window, one pleated blind unit is enough. For continuous window fronts or balcony doors we fit several units side by side — each operable on its own, so you cover only the area that needs protection at the time. Second, the Operation: the top-down bottom-up function is especially valuable in a living room. During the day the upper part stays open while the lower area keeps out views from the street — without darkening the room. In the evening the whole blind can be closed. Third, the Combined with a curtain: a pleated blind does not replace a curtain, or the other way round — the two do different jobs. The pleated blind sits compactly in the frame and controls light and view, while the curtain brings a textile effect and dampens reverberation. Together they complement each other without getting in each other's way.
Yes. For continuous fronts or balcony doors we fit several pleated blind units side by side — each operable on its own. That keeps the surface visually calm and lets you cover only the area that needs protection at the time. Yes, that is a very popular combination: the pleated blind sits compactly in the window frame and handles privacy and sun protection Curtain or pleated blind. With the Top-down bottom-up operation you close the blind from the bottom upwards — the lower, exposed area becomes opaque while daylight still falls into the room from above.
