Why roof windows are special

Auf ein Dachflächenfenster the sun hits almost vertically – so the room heats up much more strongly than with a vertical window. And a normal blind would, on the incline, sag downwards. A verspanntes System, that guides the fabric via tension shoes solves both.

Verspanntes Pleated blind & Honeycomb blind am Skylight

Das verspannte Pleated blind (at LEHA as VS2) holds at any height and lies close to the glass. As a Honeycomb blind the insulating air chamber is added – it insulates against summer heat and, in winter, against cold. Both systems are available from LEHA and MHZ as brand quality.

Hitze gezielt abhalten

For roof windows, abdunkelnde Fabricsare worthwhile: they reduce heating up the most and, as a bonus, ensure undisturbed sleep under the roof. If you prefer it brighter, combine with a daylight-transmitting honeycomb fabric.

Installation and measurement
