Day-night roller blind (Double roller blind) – wie es funktioniert

The principle: two layers, one fabric

A Double roller blind – also Day-night roller blind or duo blind – consists of a fabric web with alternating transparent and opaque horizontal stripes. The web runs double: front and back. Shift it slightly and either stripe lies on stripe (open, light comes in) or transparent on opaque (closed, view blocked).

This is how you regulate light and view steplessly – without lowering the blind completely.

Sowohl LEHA as well as MHZ offer the double roller blind as a mature brand system – with a smooth-running chain mechanism, stable wall or ceiling brackets and a matching bottom profile. Spare parts such as the operating chain, chain weight or brackets are available for both brands, so your blind stays in operation for a long time.

Blackout and use

The double roller blind does not black out completely like a classic blackout blind, but provides pleasant privacy and glare protection in daylight. It is popular in the living room, the office and everywhere you want light behaltenbut want to avoid people looking in.

Installation
