Aluminium or wooden Venetian blind? 16 vs. 25 mm slats

Aluminium or wood?

Aluminium-Lamellen are light, robust and feuchtraumtauglich – ideal for kitchen and bathroom. They reflect light and heat and can be wiped down easily.

Holzlamellen bring a warm, homely look to living and sleeping areas. They look high-quality and natural but should not go in permanently damp rooms.

16 mm or 25 mm slat width?

• 16 mm: finer slats, a discreet look, good for smaller windows. LEHA offers the aluminium Venetian blind in this width among others.
• 25 mm: wider slats, a somewhat freer view through when the slats are open, a calmer look at large windows.

Both widths are available as brand quality from LEHA and MHZ.

Operation

The slats are tilted and drawn via a Tilt rod or a Pull cord ; with the tilt gear this is particularly smooth. Original spare parts such as the tilt rod, pull cord or tilt gear are available for the LEHA systems.

Which one suits you?
