Pleated blind without drilling, hanging freely on the window sash

What is a clamp bracket?

A Clamp bracket is a small bracket that fixes the pleated blind directly on the window sash — without drilling. Instead of being screwed into the wall or frame, the bracket clamps over the sash rebate — the narrow edge of the movable window sash. LEHA offers this principle as its Klemmfix system on.

That makes the pleated blind especially suited for rented flats: it can be removed again at any time without leaving any trace, and without any holes remaining.

How does it hold without drilling?

The clamp bracket makes use of the contact pressure on the sash rebate. It's fitted onto the rebate at the top and fixed with an adjusting screw — the pleated blind then hangs in the bracket. Because a pleated blind is light and the fabric runs close to the glass, this clamping is entirely sufficient for everyday use.

Since nothing intrudes into the fabric of the building, the window sash stays undamaged. If you move house, you simply take the pleated blind with you.

Which windows does it suit?

  • Plastic, wood and aluminium windows with a continuous sash rebate
  • Turn and tilt-turn windows
  • Standard windows in living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens

The system reaches its limits with flush-fitted windows without a rebate or with very wide, heavy coverings. In such cases, screwed wall or ceiling mounting is the better choice — we're happy to advise you on this.

Mounted in just a few minutes

The clamp brackets are fitted and tightened without any tools, then the pleated blind is hung in place. If you like, you can briefly measure the sash rebate beforehand — our configurator takes care of the rest. On request, we mount it on site as part of the home consultation.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know

Does a pleated blind without drilling really hold long-term?

Yes. The clamp bracket sits on the sash rebate under contact pressure. Because a pleated blind is very light, the clamp holds reliably in ongoing daily use.

Does the clamp bracket damage the window?

No. There's no drilling and no gluing. The bracket can be removed again without leaving any trace — ideal for rented flats.

For which windows is Klemmfix not suitable?

For windows without a continuous sash rebate (flush-fitted constructions), as well as for very large, heavy coverings. A screwed mounting is recommended here.

Can I mount the pleated blind myself?

Yes, the clamp brackets are fitted without any tools. On request we take care of the mounting as part of the home consultation.
