What is a clamp bracket?
A Clamp bracket is a small holder that fixes the pleated blind directly to the window sash – without drilling. Instead of being screwed into the wall or frame, the bracket clamps over the sash rebate, i.e. the narrow edge of the movable window sash. LEHA offers this principle as Klemmfix-System on.
This makes the pleated blind particularly suitable for Mietwohnungen: it can be removed again at any time without residue, leaving no holes behind.
How does it hold without drilling?
The clamp bracket uses the Anpressdruck on the sash rebate. It is placed on top of the rebate and fixed with an adjusting screw – the pleated blind then hangs in the holder. Because a pleated blind is light and the fabric runs close to the glass, this clamping is entirely sufficient in everyday use.
As nothing intervenes in the fabric of the building, the window sash remains undamaged. If you move, you simply take the pleated blind with you.
Which windows does it suit?
- PVC, wooden and aluminium windows with an all-round sash rebate
- Turn and turn-tilt windows
- Standard windows in living, sleeping and kitchen areas
The system reaches its limits with flush-fitting windows without a rebate or with very wide, heavy blinds. In such cases a screwed wall or ceiling mounting is the better choice – we’re glad to advise you on this.
Installation in wenigen Minuten
The clamp brackets are fitted and tightened without tools, then the pleated blind is hooked in. If you like, briefly measure the sash rebate beforehand – our configurator takes care of the rest. On request we install on site as part of the home consultation.
