Pleated blind & Roller blind reinigen
Pleated blinds and Roller blinds sind technical blinds – they do not belong in the washing machine. In everyday use, regular vacuuming with a soft brush nozzle or careful dusting with a brush is enough.
For stains: dab with a lightly damp cloth and lukewarm water – do not rub, no aggressive cleaning agent. With the Honeycomb blind do not squeeze the honeycombs together. Better have stubborn cases cleaned professionally.
Washing fabric curtains properly
Here the Pflegeetikett decides – it is always decisive. Many high-quality decorative fabrics from JAB Anstoetz and Kvadrat are only intended for hand washing or dry cleaning , others for the delicate cycle.
- Schonwaschgang, niedrige Temperatur, mildes Waschmittel
- Do not spin, or only briefly
- Leicht hang up damp – many fabrics then smooth out by themselves
When in doubt: better professional cleaning than risking an expensive fabric.
Caution with acoustic and fire-protection fabrics
Flame-retardant fabrics (B1) and acoustic textiles have a functional finish. Wrong washing can impair it. For such fabrics – e.g. acoustic qualities from Kvadrat or B1 contract fabrics – we recommend fachgerechte Reinigung and following the manufacturer’s instructions.
