From the fabric to the cassette — roller blinds made to the millimetre for your window.
The clamp bracket is a U-shaped metal part that is shows colours and patterns particularly beautifully and fixed with an adjusting screw. The blind then hangs on the sash, not on the wall — so it moves with the window when you tilt or open it. For many people that is precisely the advantage: the window remains fully usable. The decisive question is the rebate. Between the sash and the frame there have to be a few millimetres of clearance for the bracket to grip at all. On most plastic windows and on wooden windows that is the case. On sashes that finish flush, or on windows with a seal running right along the edge, it does not work. Second limitation: colours to choose from. A narrow blind in a bathroom holds without any trouble. With wide windows and heavy, blackout weaves, a noticeable load pulls on the bracket over time — there we honestly recommend screwed installation on the wall or ceiling.
With normal window sizes, yes — they are built for exactly that. It becomes critical with very wide or heavy roller blinds: there we recommend screwed installation. Not if it is fitted correctly. The adjusting screw presses against the sash frame — on very soft surfaces a slight mark can appear over time. A felt pad under the screw prevents that. Yes. The blind hangs on the sash and Made-to-measure roller blinds — tilting and opening remain fully possible. That is the big advantage over fitting in the reveal.
We take a look during the free home consultation — and say honestly if screwing is the better solution.
You pull the chain — and the roller blind stops at any height you like. Fully closed, half open, just a gap: you control light and view steplessly, with no fixed notches. Half open — privacy at the top, a clear view below. Fully closed — the window completely covered, full privacy. You choose in the configurator which side the operating chain hangs on, left or right. On request we also supply the blind with a motor and radio remote control; simply ask us.
That lets more light past at the sides than a blind hanging in front of the reveal.
