How to find the right roller blind for the living room
In the living room the most common question is: How much view do I want to keep? During the day most people want to see outside, but to be undisturbed in the evening. The answer lies in the degree of transparency of the fabric — it decides how much light comes through and from when people can see in from outside.
Translucent qualities filter the sun gently and keep the room bright, but reveal the interior in the evening. Opaque fabrics protect reliably as soon as the light is on inside. If you need both, fit two windows differently or combine the roller blind with a light curtain.
Visually, the roller blind scores with restraint. Raised, only a slim wave remains above the window — the furnishings take centre stage and the view is clear. This suits calm, modern living spaces well.
For large windows we manufacture to the exact millimetre, made to measure; very wide fronts we split into several blinds so that everything is easy to operate. For extra cosiness, many customers combine the roller blind with a light curtain alongside.
