The roller blind is the classic length of fabric that rolls up onto a tube at the top. Depending on the fabric, the effect ranges from light privacy through sun protection to full blackout.

In everyday use, all it takes is regular dusting. For a stain, dab gently with a very fine, barely damp cloth — do not rub. If individual fabrics are damaged, it is often possible replace only the fabric, instead of replacing the whole unit.

Operation
You pull the chain — and the blind stays in any height you like position. Fully closed, half open or just a gap: you adjust light and privacy steplessly, with no fixed stops.

Measure correctly
You give us the fertige Width and Height — we work out the rest. So that the blind runs freely and the Kettenzug seitlich Platz hat, the fabric is slightly narrower than the window. The diagram shows the deductions:
Aussenkante bis Aussenkante des Roller blinds. Bei Wand-/Deckenmontage sitzen die Träger je Seite ca. 23 mm inside — that is already allowed for.
Compared with the roller tube, the fabric is links 17 mm (Kettenzug-Seite) and rechts 12 mm schmaler — so streift er nirgends an and die Kette läuft frei.
Height = gewünschte Länge der Stoffbahn. Auf welcher Seite die Kette hangs is your choice above — it needs a few centimetres of clearance.
