Densely woven decorative fabrics reliably protect against prying eyes and noticeably dim the light — yet the room stays perceptibly bright. Ideal for living spaces meant to be cosy but not dark.

Cosy blackout fabrics with a textile mélange look: the fabric itself is woven light-tight, but looks like a fine decorative fabric — you can't tell it darkens.

Fabric & Colour
At the Blackout curtain zählt das Zusammenspiel: Dichte des Gewebes, Beschichtung and Farbton bestimmen gemeinsam, wie viel Restlicht in den Raum gelangt.
Bei Blackout-Geweben übernimmt eine lichtundurchlässige Schicht im Stoffinneren die Blackout — dadurch stehen auch helle Farbtöne wie Creme or Hellgrau zur Wahl, ohne dass die Wirkung verloren geht. Bei unbeschichteten, dicht gewebten Stoffen gilt: Je dunkler and dichter der Fabric, desto less Light scheint durch.

Auch der dichteste Fabric verdunkelt nur dort, wo er hängt: Seitlich, oben and am Boden kann Light vorbeifallen. Deshalb planen wir Blackout curtains grosszügiger als das Fenster.
