How to find the right vertical blinds for your home
At home, vertical blinds are the answer to large glass surfaces. Where a wide living-room front or floor-to-ceiling glazing looks restless with individual roller blinds, a vertical-blind installation spans the entire width in one sweep — calm, clean and also solvable around corners.
The greatest everyday advantage shows on balcony and patio doors: the slats can be pushed completely to the side and clear the door. You step outside unhindered and then simply slide the covering back across — unlike a roller blind, which blocks the passage.
By Tilting the slats you regulate light and view steplessly. Open in the morning for plenty of daylight, turned against the sun at midday, closed and opaque in the evening. The vertical line also makes rooms appear taller — a nice side effect in living spaces.
At the Fabric you have the choice from translucent sun filters to opaque qualities, in many homely colours. Practical: should a slat ever be damaged, we replace it individually — the whole system stays intact. Available slat widths are 89 mm for the finer look and 127 mm for large areas.

- Slidable to the side: balcony and patio doors remain freely accessible
- Control light and view steplessly via the slat angle
- Individual slats replaceable · widths 89 and 127 mm
Which fabrics and slat width suit your windows is best seen on site: at the free home consultation in the canton of Zurich we take the measurements and bring fabric samples along.
