Buying advice

Wer dagegen lichtempfindlich ist, im Schichtdienst arbeitet or ein Kinderzimmer für den Mittagsschlaf abdunkeln will, braucht echtes Blackout: einen Blackout curtain mit lichtdichtem Gewebe or — noch konsequenter — ein Blackout roller blind mit Kassette and Führungsschienen, das den Lichtspalt am Fensterrand fast vollständig schliesst. Wichtig zu wissen: A Curtain verdunkelt nur so gut, wie er das Fenster überdeckt. Planen Sie links and rechts je 15–20 cm Überstand and lassen Sie den Fabric bis zum Boden laufen.

The curtain, on the other hand, scores on cosiness and acoustics — it makes the room softer and quieter. Ja. Wabenplissees (Duette) with blackout fabric, and many roller blinds can be mounted with clamp brackets directly on the window sash — completely without drilling and residue-free. This is the ideal solution for rented flats: no intervention in the frame or wall, simply remove them when moving out.
