The curtain is the textile length of fabric in front of the window — it gives the room cosiness, dampens sound and provides a soft light and reliable privacy.

The way the fabric falls is determined by the heading at the top — wave tape for a calm wave or pleating tape for classic pleats. The fullness (the pleat factor, usually two to two-and-a-half times the window width) determines how lavishly the fabric falls. For contract projects there are flame-retardant Trevira CS qualities.
